: At Holy Angels, we prioritize your child’s safety and well-being. We offer the Empowering God’s Children and Young People© Safety Program, provided by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This program is an ongoing initiative that educates children and young people about safety through classroom lessons and activities. It’s grounded in catechetical principles, emphasizing that God loves them and wants them to be healthy and safe.

In April, we will introduce the Empowering God’s Children and Young People© Safety Program to our students. This year, the lessons will cover topics such as The Five Body Safety Rules, distinguishing between Safe and Unsafe Adults, and Internet Safety. Each lesson will involve video presentations, classroom discussions, and both individual and group activities. There will also be a “Take Home Activity” for students to complete with their parent or guardian. Additionally, we will present a Summer Safety Lesson at the end of the school year. We strongly recommend all parents to read the “Working Together to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse” brochure, which will be distributed at the start of the year.
