We are happy to welcome Father Francois Pellissier of the GLENMARY Home Missioners, who will join us at our Masses on July 29 and 30 and share with us the amazing work of Glenmary’s missionaries. They are dedicated to serving the spiritual and material needs of people right here in the United States, where hundreds of counties do not have a Catholic church or resident priest.
Can you imagine living without the Eucharist, the sacraments, or a parish community to find fellowship and support? That is the reality for many of our brothers and sisters in the small towns and rural areas of our nation. Glenmary Home Missioners is striving to change that—to bring the love of Jesus and His Church to those who need it most. This will be a wonderful opportunity for us to learn more about their outreach in Appalachia and the rural South and to show them our solidarity and appreciation.
