Barbara Ferris is Retiring! After an incredible forty-five years of dedicated service in many capacities, Mrs. Barbara Ferris is retiring. Although we are sad to see her step down from official capacities, she will still be very much present in our Parish Family. The Holy Angels Parish Council invites you to a reception honoring this extraordinary lady on Saturday, May 13, 2023, immediately following the 5:00 PM Mass. Please join us in thanking Barbara for her many years of faithful service to our parish. Refreshments will be served during the brief program. |

21 HAFMA Filipino Breakfast
Next Sunday, May 21st, you can savor a tasty Filipino breakfast and help the Holy Angels Filipino Ministry of Arcadia (HAFMA) with their fundraiser. They will be selling Longsilog and Spamsilog meals at the Gathering Center from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. These meals consist of sausage or spam with rice and egg, and they are very popular in the Philippines. Longsilog comes from LONGanisa, a Filipino-style sausage, and itLOG, the Tagalog word for egg. Spamsilog is a similar dish with spam instead of sausage. To make sure you don’t miss this opportunity, we recommend you pre-order your meals by contacting Susan Alcazar, HAFMA President, at (626) 622-1732. Parishioners are encouraged to pray before the exposed Holy Eucharist every First Friday of every month. Stay for a few minutes or an hour. Stay and pray.
