Holy Angels Parish, in collaboration with the Health Ministries of USC Arcadia Hospital, will host a flu vaccine clinic in the auditorium on October 6th from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The CDC recommends that everyone six months and older get vaccinated each flu season. The flu vaccine will be available for adult parishioners aged 18 and above. This clinic will offer the standard trivalent vaccine, not the high-dose vaccine for those over 65 years of age.
Please do not take the vaccine if you have had a life-threatening allergic reaction to any ingredient in the flu vaccine, if you have had Guillain-Barré syndrome, if you are sick on the day of the clinic, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses, like the flu, is more critical than ever. Please wear short-sleeved shirts. No appointment is necessary.
