1 First Sunday of Advent
Advent begins Sunday, December 1st. During this season, we prepare our homes and lives for Jesus, the King of Glory and the Prince of Peace. Mark these four weeks of preparation with an Advent wreath in your home. On the First Sunday of Advent, we invite you to bring your purple Advent candle to Mass. We will light our candles from the church’s Advent wreath as a symbol of our community and unity as a parish family. To ensure everyone can participate in this tradition, we will have boxes of Advent candles available for purchase for $5.00 in the Rectory office during the coming weeks and in the Gathering Center on the weekend of Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1st, after all Masses.

Parishioners are encouraged to pray before the exposed Holy Eucharist every First Friday morning. Stay for a few minutes or an hour. Stay and pray.
